EDUCATION FORMATS AT TECHNO GLOBAL SCHOOL

The rapid globalization in the present years and the pace of changes in the environment particularly in the Social, Economic and Technology fields have not only necessitated improvement in the quality of education through school curriculum but also facilitated imbibing of latest technology in the teaching – learning methodologies. In view of the current trend of development, Techno India Group aims to introduce the following four formats of Techno Global School for a 3600 Education exposure.

• Techno Global School – Day
• Techno Global School – Extended Day
• Techno Global School – Residential with weekend break
• Techno Global School – Residential

Techno Global School – Day

Parents residing in the urban areas usually prefer schooling of their children in a day school located at the proximity from their place of stay. A reasonable proximity of the Techno Global School to the residential pockets of the town is considered to be convenient for the students and parents.

Techno Global School – Extended Day

In the last couple of decades there has been an appreciable increase in the number of nuclear families in not only metros but also tier II & tier III towns, where both the parents are employed in service or engaged in professional / social assignments. The long absence of the parents leaves the children lonely, unattended and purposeless after normal day school hours. Keeping these constraints in mind we have planned the Extended Day School for optimum utilization of a child’s time after the day school is over.

The Academic Curriculum to be implemented in this format is similar to that of Day School, however, it is aimed to lay considerable emphasis on a wide range of multi-disciplinary activities to facilitate multi-faceted development and growth in the children. The special features of the extended day school are given as under:

1. To function 3 to 4 hours extra over and above the normal day school.
2. All children are aimed to be provided with proper lunch and evening snacks from the school cafeteria.
3. Children to be provided with separate locker to facilitate the change to sports / hobby club rig from the school uniform.
4. A variety of frontline field games will be conducted during the extended hours to help inculcate team spirit, organizing abilities, competitiveness and self-esteem.
5. During the extended hours it is also aimed to conduct extra classes in core subjects to help the slow learners.
6. The activity sheets of various subjects are aimed to be completed in the extended hours thus eliminating the requirement of homework. It can also be utilized for project work.
7. A plethora of co-curricular activities in the field of performing arts comprising classical / modern dances / vocals / instrumental, drawing / clay modelling, story writing and other hobby activities will be conducted in the extended hours, leading to development of creativity, self-expression and other inherent talents of the children.

Techno Global School – Residential with weekend break

The opening up of the service sector has resulted in large number of both parents becoming associated with professional assignments involving jobs extending not only from dawn to dusk but also from dusk to dawn. Hence a large number of parents face acute paucity of time to spend with their children except during the weekends. Keeping this in mind, we have conceptualized our residential with weekend break format. This format enables reunion of the children with their parents on Saturdays and Sundays and have the advantage of reducing the level of home sickness experienced by children in fully residential schools.

Techno Global School’s meticulously planned hostels and the sumptuous food from the canteen will make the boarding facilities “Home away from home” for the residents. The residential schools will train their sight at development of multi – faceted personality, character building, camaraderie and exceptional qualities of leadership. Techno Global School’s residential with weekend break format will endeavour to:

1. Develop the creative potentials of the children by involving them in Hobby Workshops on Sculpture, Art & Craft, Pottery, Paining, Cartoon sketch, Vocal and instrumental music, Dramatics etc.
2. Induce scientific orientation, spirit of discovery and exploration through Nature Club, Astronomy Club and Electronics Club.
3. Improve verbal communication and listening skills by organizing debates and workshops by expert resources and written communication by organizing Story / Essay writing competitions.

Techno Global School – Residential

The concept of Techno Global School – Residential is similar to that of Techno Global School – Residential with weekend break, except that the children will have long continued stay in the school campus and will reunite with the parents only during the vacations and long breaks.
